ABOUT ME...
I am a therapist with over seven years of experience in the field of mental health. I view the therapeutic relationship as a partnership and assume a client-as-expert stance in my clinical practice. My goal is to create a safe environment in which you feel heard, understood and free to explore your thoughts and feelings in working towards achieving your goals. I may suggest homework at times or relevant readings to build skills between sessions in real-life situations. My clients describe me as warm, encouraging, accepting and down-to-earth. I love what I do, and I'd like to think that my passion is evident in my clinical work. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

As an integrative mental health practitioner, I synthesize a variety of clinical theories and techniques to develop a customized approach that is tailored to your individual needs. I work primarily from humanistic, cognitive-behavioral, and mindfulness orientations to treat individuals, couples, and families, in various stages of life, who are facing a variety of issues. I have an MS in Social Work from Columbia University with additional post-graduate training in Clinical Social Work from New York University. Having lived in Canada, Europe, Western Africa, the Middle East, Southern and East Asia, I enjoy and have experience working with people from all ethnic/cultural backgrounds and sexual/gender identifications. I am fluent in French, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and member of the National Association of Social Workers, NAACP and ACLU.

When we are mindful, deeply in touch with the present moment, our understanding of what is going on deepens, and we begin to be filled with acceptance, joy, peace and love.
